National Coordinator
I am Rocco Schembra, the creator of the Notte Nazionale del Liceo Classico and its coordinator since its first edition. For many years, I was a teacher of Literary Disciplines, Latin, and Ancient Greek at the Liceo Classico "Gulli e Pennisi" in Acireale, where the idea was conceived. Currently, I am a researcher in Greek and Latin Philology at the University of Turin, where I teach Propaedeutics to Classical Philology and Late Antique Philology. Qualified as a Full Professor in the same scientific-disciplinary sector, I have published about 60 contributions in academic journals and 6 monographs, including the critical edition of the Homeric Centos in the Corpus Christianorum (Brepols, Turnhout) and, most recently, the volume Donne al sepolcro di Gesù (Carocci editore).
My motto is: … monumentum aere perennius.

I am Tania Pulvirenti. I have a classical background and I am a learning support teacher at the I.C. di Saluzzo (CN), secondary school "La Rosa Bianca". I am passionate about literature and the arts. Since this year, I have been in charge of the secretariat of the Notte Nazionale del Liceo Classico.

I am Vladimir Di Prima. I have a degree in Law and for over twenty years I have been part of the organizing committee of the Premio Brancati. As an independent filmmaker, I have collaborated with, among others, Lucio Dalla, and I have received several national and international awards. I am the author of Le incompiute smorfie, Avaria, and La banda Brancati. In 2023, I directed a docufilm starring Giuseppe Lo Piccolo, Marino Bartoletti, and other important actors on the national stage. I published the novel Il buio delle tre, selected for the Premio Strega in 2024, and L’incoscienza di Badalà with the publisher Arkadia.

I am Barbara Filomia, teacher of Literary Disciplines, Latin, and Ancient Greek at the Liceo Classico “San Nilo” in Corigliano-Rossano (CS) and the representative for internationalization in the Organizing Committee of the Notte Nazionale del Liceo Classico.
I believe in the value of engaging with others and in the educational power of teaching that is open to relationships. A fundamental tool that allows me to open my classroom doors to the world is the eTwinning platform, which is invaluable for promoting dialogue, collaboration, and new educational perspectives.
My motto is: Ogni viaggio verso l’altro comincia dal coraggio di un passo.

I am Francesco Rainero, singer-songwriter and interpreter. During my career, I have collaborated with artists such as Bungaro, Fabi, and Gazzè, opening concerts for Ligabue and De Gregori. Winner of Musicultura and the Premio Lunezia, I have released the albums Mancino, Generazione, and La libera bellezza. Since 2017, I have written and performed the hymn of the Notte Nazionale del Liceo Classico. I am the frontman for projects dedicated to Battisti and De André, and in 2025 my new record Ti cerco nel mondo was released. In Florence, I direct the creative center Li.Be – Libera Bellezza.
